Kazamer Tax Consultant is seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious HSE Officer to join our team in Dubai. This role is ideal for a professional with strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations who can promote a safe workplace, ensure regulatory compliance, and implement effective HSE practices across the organization. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining a safe and healthy working environment for employees and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular workplace inspections to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with UAE HSE regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
- Organize safety training sessions, toolbox talks, and awareness programs for employees.
- Investigate workplace incidents, accidents, and near misses, and prepare detailed reports.
- Monitor the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and promote safe work practices.
- Conduct risk assessments and recommend preventive measures to minimize workplace hazards.
- Maintain HSE documentation, inspection records, incident reports, and compliance logs.
- Coordinate emergency preparedness activities, fire drills, and evacuation procedures.
- Work closely with management to continuously improve workplace health and safety performance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience as an HSE Officer or in a similar safety role.
- Good knowledge of UAE health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, or equivalent are highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of risk assessment, incident investigation, and safety management systems.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for reporting and documentation.
