Kazamer Tax Consultant is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join its finance team in Dubai. This role is suitable for an accounting professional who wants to develop practical experience in bookkeeping, financial reporting, reconciliations, and tax-related documentation. The successful candidate will support daily accounting activities while maintaining accurate financial records and following company procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Record daily financial transactions accurately in the accounting system.
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
- Prepare invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and journal entries.
- Perform bank and account reconciliations under the supervision of senior accountants.
- Maintain general ledger accounts and supporting financial documentation.
- Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and account summaries.
- Support the preparation and organization of VAT and tax-related documents.
- Verify invoices, expenses, and payment records for accuracy.
- Maintain organized physical and digital accounting files.
- Assist with internal and external audit requirements.
- Follow up on outstanding receivables and support payment tracking.
- Coordinate with internal departments regarding invoices and financial documentation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or a finance-related role is preferred.
- Good understanding of basic accounting principles and financial procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and accounting software or ERP systems.
- Knowledge of UAE VAT and basic tax procedures is an advantage.
- Strong numerical and analytical abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively as part of a finance team.
